Truly one of the finest dining establishments in all of San Diego. The fact that it is in the heart of the most vibrant community SD has (Little Italy) puts this place over the top. Service is friendly, fast, and very thorough. Used plates, glasses, and flatware are quickly removed and replaced. The beverage and wine service are well done. The food was very good. It is a bit on the high side for what it is, but not outrageously so. And the quality of the service lives up to the restaurant's price point. My wife and I dined at Seneca on our wedding anniversary. The staff made note of that, and each person who served us wished us a happy anniversary, and the restaurant gave us champagne gratis. We would recommend Seneca to any interested diners.

I was so impressed with the service. We never waited for anything. I was cold, but due to Christmas decorations they could not use the heaters- without me asking they brought out a hot water bottle to help keep my legs warm. So nice. I had the pasta with the Langoustine - it was tasty. But the best part of our meal was the deconstructed tiramisu- it was delicious!! I want to go back just to get dessert!! I would definitely recommend eating here. Reservations are a must.

One of my favorite restaurants in San Diego. Love that you are able to make a reservation online. We sat in the bar area. The booths were very comfortable and the music wasn’t super loud so you were able to still chat. Great cocktail menu and decent wine list. Some wines are locally made. We both had the Chicken Piccata. Perfect portion size. The lemon mashed potato’s were not super lemony which was nice. Service was excellent. Perfect for a date night or even a business meal.
