- AAlyssaPhoenix / Arizona •1 review4.0Dined 6 days agoOverall good experience. Upon arrival we were seated quickly and our server was not far behind. The architecture was true to the history of the building with great modern finishings to complement. Suggestions to make it feel more intimate and sophisticated would be adding some elegant sheer curtains or window converging. Seeing traffic cones, excessive trash cans and street riff raff somewhat hindered the overall feel of the establishment. Service was friendly, engaging, and we were given great suggestions. Great customer service. Bar service was great! My husband got a peroni and I got a limoncello spritz that was arguably better than the one I had in Capri, Italy. Food was all very impressive. We got burrata, bone in strip loin, carbonara, and the gem city Caesar. The burrata appetizer was very smokey, so if you do not like that, I would not recommend. Gem city Caesar was great, well balanced and well dressed. The carbonara was perfectly al dente. I love a carbonara with peas and pancetta, but I will say the pancetta was overly fatty, so if you don’t like that, maybe consider a different option. Bone-In strip loin had great flavor, but was somewhat small for the price. Cooked absolutely perfectly! You could cut it with a butter knife. The bone marrow and garlic aioli it is served with was creamy, and delicious and really took this dish over the top. However my husband felt it did not meet expectations for the price of $56. Wish we could’ve tried the dessert but we were running behind for a show we had to get to. At the end of the meal there was an altercation with someone who wandered in from the street and seemed to be going through a potential medical emergency of sorts and/or was quite agitated. This began to alarm some patrons. The staff and management handled this very professionally while trying to provide support for the individual without risking the wellbeing of the patrons. Overall good experience and we will definitely be back!More infoBistecca - Ardent HotelPrice: Expensive• Italian• Dayton•3.9

I was hoping the restaurant carried Malfy Italian gin as corporate said they did.More infoBrio Italian Grille - Beaver Creek - The GreenPrice: Moderate• Italian• Beavercreek•3.8
- DDeniseCincinnati / Dayton •3 reviews5.0Dined on Apr 20, 2025I can't say enough about Dewberry 1850 and the manager Christian. There was a bit of misinformation given to my party of 7. Christian went above and beyond to rectify the situation. The food is absolutely incredible. I can't wait to go back.More infoDewberry 1850 Restaurant and Lounge - Marriott at the University of DaytonPrice: Moderate• American• Dayton•3.3
