Brendan the Navigator is such a delightful find, i am almost tempted not to tell you about it, so it does not become mobbed. Great service, great Sunday lunch, excellent music (11 players by the end). This is a pub we will most certainly return to, but please don't tell anybody, just in case.

Having been shown to our table and given some water we were abandoned for 20 mins until someone finally came over to ask if we wanted to order drinks! We asked to change tables as ours was crammed next to till and the till drawer bashed my husbands arm when it was opened. Also the table next to us were unnecessarily loud. We both opted for the cheeseburger which was delicious. Chips were chunky and also very good. Food was great but bad service means we won’t be back. Shame. Wasn’t as if it was particularly busy as we arrived early for our 6pm booking before a gig.
