Best International Restaurants in Quartiere Chiesa Rossa

We enjoyed a lovely lovely lunch at the Armani/Bamboo Bar. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious and plentiful with additional extras such as olives. tarallini, bread and nuts. The restaurant was very quiet and offered a sanctuary to the hustle and bustle of a busy hot Milan day.

Fantastic find in an otherwise disappointing city. In House made pastas and breads, all of the true Italian classics, best Oso Bucco in 1000km, an engaged and vibrant owner/host and one of the best waiter/servers we have encountered in many travels around the world. Liberte, the one full server, and his assistant are able to serve and tend to a restaurant full of disparate guests with calm and finesse. He never misses a beat and never seems to have to rush to keep all tables moving, eating and engaged in the moment. A true find and a pleasure to be attended by. Milan is far from our favorite city in Italy, but if we have to go back, we will return here early and often. Salute!

This restaurant was recommended by our concierge when we asked for a good place to get Milanese risotto. We figured it would be a touristy place- we were wrong and in the best possible ways! The Cantina is in a nice quiet neighborhood and served wonderful risotto, kind and efficient waiters (who were patient when I spoke in my infantile Italian), amazing house-made limoncello, and best of all- the place was filled with actual Italians, which I think is a great sign!

10/10 experience! From the service to the food everything was exceptional! The tiramisu was incredible! Would HIGHLY recommend!
