Sula on Davie is a gem of a restaurant—but be warned, it’s small and fills up fast, so a reservation is a must. This isn’t your typical Indian fare. The menu leans inventive, with regional dishes and bold flavours you won’t find at your average curry house—so come ready to try something new. Our server, Jithin, was fantastic: friendly, efficient, and full of great suggestions. The Samosa Pinwheels were a knockout—classic samosa flavours reimagined on crisp tart shells. The Chicken Masala Tarts and Banana Blossom starter were both unique and delicious. For mains, the Chicken Chettinad was a standout—spicy, rich, and deeply satisfying. Prices are reasonable, and the ambience is lively—even midweek, there’s a real buzz to the place. Highly recommended.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Vancouver. I am of South Asian descent myself and have high standards for indian food. This beats all the other places I have tried by a long way (and I’ve tried most of them)!
