    Delayed by traffic and needing to catch a show at the Academy, we needed fast service, our waiter delivered under challenging conditions. The food itself was fantastic: halibut, salmon and two perfect NY strips.

    I love Greek food and was looking for a restaurant near where I was visiting a friend who also loves Greek food, and I found Black Olive. We were not disappointed! The avgolemono soup was fantastic, we shared a special hot appetizer that was also fabulous, and then I had the pastitsio and my friend had the souvlaki platter. All of it was absolutely fabulous, and so was the service. I don't live nearby, so I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to visit Black Olive again, but I highly recommend it for anyone who lives in the area. This is REAL Greek food!
