Very vibrant ambience. Loved the big windows which seamlessly connects the outside and inside allowing the vibe from the street to spills into the restaurant. The food was great and came out quickly — which was valuable as we were seeing a show. They need to work a little bit on their tech (there weren’t clear instructions to connect to their Wi-Fi, but once we did, ordering was easy). Perfectly located if you’re going to see The Devil Wears Prada or other theater in the area. 

We stumbled upon High Timber after being recommended by ChatGPT, and we were delighted! We almost canceled the reservation as we had had a long day of travel and didn't want to get too dressed up for dinner. So we took the chance, went in our traveling clothes, and said, "If we get kicked out, we'll go someplace else." Not. At. All. We were greeted and welcomed with enthusiasm! The owner, Neleen, (and the new owner Lucas!) greeted us and made us feel right at home! We took their recommendations on wine, starters, and entrees, and everything was WONDERFUL! Our server, Alessio, made great recommendations for dessert as well! For reference, we started with the Biltong croquettes (chef's kiss). We also had the tomatoes and charred courgettes as sides. I had a filet, and my husband had the ribeye. They were the 2nd best steaks I've ever had - my husband's steaks take the top rank ;) We cannot say enough about this special place! We'll definitely be back on future trips to London!

The restaurant is part of a high quality hotel and the welcome we received and attentiveness of the restaurant staff were to a high standard. The surroundings are lovely, especially on a warm sunny day for alfresco dining in the attractive courtyard. As we had booked for a Saturday lunch we were given the Weekend Brunch menu - the mid week a la carte dining menu was much more extensive. The food was well presented and all of us enjoyed the meals we had chosen. We were left in peace to chat with our friends and not rushed out after we had finished our food. Overall a lovely place to meet friends and chat over a leisurely weekend lunch.

The staff were very attentive and made the meal run smoothly
