- JJosephPhiladelphia County •12 reviews5.0Dined on Jul 5, 2025We had brunch here for the first time, and it was excellent on all levels. I had been to Front Street Cafe on several occasions for dinner over the past 2 years but had not had a meal as high quality as our brunch on Saturday. New chef? I don't know, but I'll go back for sure.More infoFront Street CafePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Fishtown•4.6
- JJudyPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 28, 2025We always get an excellent meal at Local. It never disappoints. I love their concept of a small menu with portions sizes that are appropriate and not too large, serving fresh, well executed food that is perfect every time! Nate, our server, is always wonderful!More infoLocal Wine & KitchenPrice: Moderate• American• Ardmore•4.6

- JBJBfromNJWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2016This restaurant is worth the hype; be sure to make weekend reservations way in advance (they are strict about them). The meals come as small plates, and the waiter kindly equated the first grouping of plates to being appetizers, the second grouping as main courses, and the third as sides. My husband and I ordered the carpaccio portabello mushrooms and the roasted golden beets to start. Perfectly presented and the right meld of flavors in each. For the next courses, one dish out did the next. Meat eaters will not be disappointed. We finished with a small scoop of cherry sorbet with balsamic vinegar; be sure to give it a try. We look forward to going again the next time we are in Philly.More infoVedgePrice: Expensive• Vegetarian• Center City•4.7
