The stately looking former manor house, is set back from the road in acres of grounds surrounded by the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Our Restaurant offers an unforgettable dinning experience alongside a traditional bar and large garden area. Our Head Chef's seasonal menu draws on the rich Norfolk larder of produce, much of it sourced on the doorstep, like Brancaster molluscs and local farm reared meats using innovative and modern cooking techniques. During the summer holidays the outside bar and kitchen is in full swing from noon til late. The pub warmly welcomes families and children have their own menu and the safe, enclosed garden and play area is perfect for youngsters to let off steam. The 4 guest bedrooms offer stylish relaxing ensuite accommodation, perfect for a special getaway, overnight stay or weekend break (dog friendly).

** New to Open Table as of 1st April 2025 ** Nestled in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, The Cricketers n The Green is a multi award winning pub & restaurant with a growing reputation. We give chefs Jake Wragg and Richard Hart free rein to create dishes which delight guests from near and far. Allowing them to showcase their creativity and talent, the ever evolving menu swings with the seasons and uses local Norfolk produce from the myriad of farmers, fishermen and other producers on our rural doorstep.The pub itself we describe as quintessentially English, set on the edge on an expansive village green in beautiful Aldborough. Don't be surprised to be watching the cricket when a group of Morris Dancers show up. Yes it happens!
