- DDaveNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoBeen here many times in the past. Menu less varied than we remember, no specials, not much locally caught fish. Service generally good and friendly although some younger servers have developed "waiter's eye" - the ability to look somewhere else and be busy with small jobs. Food was tasty though. As for value for money, could only give two stars on that score because the wine prices were silly - cheapest bottle a Pinot Grigio at £29.50? A Rioja Reserve at £55? Come on! Are these the new Northumberland prices?More infoThe Joiners ArmsPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Alnwick•4.3
