A lovely greeting on arrival made up feel immediately welcome. Peter who served a majority of our meal was absolutely lovely, attentive and engaging without being intrusive. The food was absolutely excellent, innovative, seasonal cookery at its best. The elderflower soufflé was a perfect end to an amazing meal. We're already planning our return trip.

Pleasant comfortable seating. Our wedding anniversary so we treated ourselves and were not disappointed. My wife had chicken and asparagus, I had a very good steak with an excellent mushroom duxelle. Then two affogati. All very good with friendly prompt service.

The Mason's Arms provides pub food to a very high standard and is reasonable value, we will be going again and we certainly recommend it.

A friend and I met here for lunch as it was a midway point for each of us. The menu looked fab (which was another reason for booking) but we only ate from the sandwich menu on this occasion. However, we will be back with friends to try the full lunch menu in a few weeks time. The pub had a lovely vibe to it and the staff were great.
