Amazing food and service was amazing. Friendly staff who were happy to help with anything :)

Only made decision to go about an hour ahead and what a find. Good atmosphere in the pub and the food quality was every bit as good as at the Ashdown Park Hotel which has two aa rosettes. Good wine list and excellent Harvey's beer. The sauce with the Hake main course was superb.

What a joy to have really good fish and chips in my local. Lovely light batter and fresh fish. Beer and service also commendable. Thank you. Please keep up the good work!

The food was amazing as always! I had the surf and turf burger. The prawns and scallops on top were absolutely delicious and the meat was tasty and lean. Their skin on fries are really delicious, the seasoning on them is perfect. And obviously, I had to finish with the cheesecake and some ice cream. It was huge, light and absolutely delicious. The staff are so friendly and were aware that we were visiting for my birthday and made a point of wishing me a happy birthday and offering a birthday cocktail which was really very kind of them. We visit here regularly and are never disappointed.

Superb Prawn starters-good value Lunch The Fish and chips are really excellent and a generous portion.
