- BBrookeVIPLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined todayFood - Chef Marcos is committed to quality ingredients as is expected from a world-renowned chef. We tried the octopus, lobster ravioli, lamb, chicken, spinach and truffle fries. I would recommend all. The octopus and chicken had a nice crispness and the chicken was quite moist. The spinach was savory with a hint of garlic. The lamb super tender. The fires crisp with a choice of ketchup and truffle aioli. Drinks - We had the Guarapita, Garden Punch and Game Changer. The first is like a nice spin on a margarita with passion fruit flavoring. The second used fresh watermelon and it was abundantly clear in the taste. The last was my partner’s ddfavorite. He’s trying to figure out if he can make it at home. Ambiance - It’s a nice quiet spot. It has a lounge vibe in the front and more standard restaurant if you sit in the back. There’s also a bar where you can hang. They also have a fireplace if the weather permits. It’s very relaxed and low key - it shares a lobby with a hotel. Service - Our waiter Kace (sp?) was so attentive and willing to share his recommendations or what paired well with what. We really appreciated that. He on his own accord would grab us clean plates or silverware which we much appreciated. Just a really kind individual. Chef - Chef Marcos’ story was just so inspiring and amazing and we wish him nothing but success. The meaning behind “O” and how he found his way into magic is so inspiring. We loved the magic tricks he conducted at our table. Please check out this lovely restaurant. It’s perfect for date night or an outing with friends or to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or any other special occasion.More infoO By Marcos SpazianiPrice: Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• Downtown•4.9
- GGeorgeLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined on Jun 8, 2025TLDR: Sampla was incredible 11/10. The food, the atmosphere, the customer service: TOP NOTCH!! Pros: The food was spectacular Exploring the menu is to your benefit The team cohesion is unparalleled (keep in my mind, my back was against the rest of the restaurant, my wife could see everything and noted that the experience we had was not unique, the servers, bussers, and assistant servers treated every customer like their meal was for a special occasion). The ambiance is perfect for a romantic evening, or just and intimate meal with an individual or small group (although they had a large party behind us and somehow we didn’t even notice them) There are a lot of options for people with varying diets. I myself can’t eat shellfish and in spite of that the options left available were so delicious I am already planning my next visit! Cons: We had a wobbly table; we didn’t bring it up and it would be fair to say that based on our service they would have addressed the concern had we mentioned it. There was no alcohol. Everyone we spoke to, from the hostess to the General Manager mentioned that they were currently not serving alcohol. (This was a non-issue for my wife and I as we are not drinkers, not even on special occasions. However, if you are keep, this in mind). It should be noted that they all mentioned that they were in the process of being able to serve alcohol, so by the time of reading this, this may not be relevant.More infoSampa Los AngelesPrice: Expensive• Filipino• Arts District•4.7

- JJazminLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined on May 4, 2025I came here for my birthday and found Room 13 to be a great place to have drinks and enjoy the entertainment and ambiance. The food is just okay but if they were to up their game it would bring this place to the next level. You should note that most of the large plates do not include sides.More infoRoom Number 13 at the Escape HotelPrice: Very Expensive• International• Hollywood•4.4
