- AAbbeyAtlanta Metro •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe gals and I had a lovely time here. Our waitstaff was delightful and funny, and the special seasonal drinks were amazing!! I got the sweet and sour gnocchi, and it was delicious. They’re crunchy on the outside, which was unexpected but very very yummy. That was my first time going, and I will definitely be back!More infoWhiskey BirdPrice: Moderate• American• Morningside-Lenox Park•4.8
- BBrianAtlanta Metro •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI took the family of 3 for dinner prior to a theatre show. We had 5p reservations. We got there 10 minutes early. I'm glad we did. they have parking next to the building, but it fills up quickly. Promptly greeted and seated. The interior has a cool Asian vibe to it, but not too over the top. Louise was our server. She was great! Engaging, knowledgeable, fun, and attentative. She recommended a few items, then went over the specials, and we were sold. We had the dumpling special and wonton for appetizers. The dumplings could have been cooked a bit longer, but the filling was really good. The wontons were our favorite stuffed with lobster, crawfish, and caviar! For our mains, my wife went with the nightly special of sacchettoni pasta with cheese served with lobster tail and scallops. She loved it. My son ordered the Korean ribs with lobster mac n cheese and collard greens. When it came to the table, it literally is enough for two! The ribs were so tender, and the mac n cheese was full of lobster with a kick of spice. It was really good and a LARGE portion. I opted for the Laksa noodle duck and lobster tail. Again, it was a huge portion I couldn't finish. The noodles were so light and tender. The duck is initially smoked, then pan seared. The lobster tail was cooked perfectly. I appreciated that there wasn't a ton of sauce, and the proteins shined through. We didn't save room for dessert, but saw a few in the display case near the kitchen. They looked large, as well. I would definitely recommend Poor Calvin's for any special occasion or date night that brings you to Atlanta.More infoPoor Calvin'sPrice: Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• Downtown•4.9
