Best French Restaurants in East Providence

We were a party of 7 and it was a first visit to Le Central. We were very pleased with the range and quality of offerings on the menu. Service was also excellent! We highly recommend this establishment, located conveniently in the heart of the town of Bristol!

We had a delightful experience at Pot au Feu. It felt like we were in a romantic little restaurant in France. We were greeted warmly by staff and showed to our cozy table. Drinks were brought promptly-I highly recommend the Les Fleurs. I heard the people at the next table commenting on how perfect their Old Fashioneds were. We were brought warm bread which was delicious. Our appetizer was the Pate de Maison-chicken liver mousse made with brandy and served with toasts. I had Coquilles St. Jacques and my husband had the Poutine with tenderloin and Foie gras. Dessert was Pots du Chocolate and Citron Mousse. It was not an inexpensive meal but the quality and flavors are well worth it. It’s a lovely place for authentic country French cooking. We will be repeat customers.

Alexi, our server, is AMAZING! All of the staff for that matter are super friendly and attentive. Food was good and flavorful. My seafood dish was superb, with balanced flavors and generous portions of shellfish. As a sober person, I found the selection of mocktails to be very limited, but they were consistent in flavor and refreshing.

The menu selection was diverse and appealing to all of us. We were in the back room and I was surprised by noise level , but did not interrupt our conversation . My Cobb salad was very good but needed more dressing, which I didn’t ask for, my bad.
