- RRandallVIPPortland / Oregon •64 reviews4.0Dined todayWe stumbled upon this gem and were not disappointed. The menu of well constructed Swiss dishes complimented with a wine list featuring great bottles from the vineyards of Italy, France, Austria and Germany. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. We started with a craft cocktail and castelvetrano olives. Split a Mixed salad with the schnitzel and venison paired with glass pours recommended by the staff. There is a chefs menu option which we plan to partake at our next visit.More infoAlpenrauschPrice: Expensive• Swiss• Southeast Portland•4.5

- BBarbaraVIPPortland / Oregon •30 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a wonderful brunch today. The food was very good and the service excellent. We are excited about the menus that their new chef is coming up with. I had the Shakshuka which was delicious and my husband had the Hungry Man. He loved it! The French Press coffee was also a treat as so few places offer it anymore. The service was very great. The Tavern on Kruse is now open for brunch / lunch at 9 am which was another plus for us. We highly recommend this place for a fabulous brunch treat.More infoTavern on KrusePrice: Expensive• Northwest• Lake Oswego•4.3
- SSusanPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined on May 12, 2025Serrato never disappoints. The food is amazing and the wine list is exceptional as there is something for everyone's taste. Our server Chad was stellar, graciously giving in to our wine tasting sips so we could find just the perfect one! Overall, it's a really great dining experience.More infoSerrattoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Pearl District•4.7
- KKarlaPortland / Oregon •31 reviews5.0Dined on Apr 6, 2025If you are looking for a quiet unassuming place with good food at a reasonable price, this is your spot. It is the restaurant attached to a hotel in the slabtown neighborhood. At Sunday brunch time, there were only 4 people although we were told it can be very busy. The food was perfectly prepared, the coffee was good, and the waiter was engaging and helpful. This is not a.trendy foodie hotspot, which is what makes it an understated gem. The menu misspellings gave us a laugh, but the chef’s cooking skills are no joke. We thought it offered excellent value in these days when everything is so expensive. Off the beaten track, and well worth a visit!More infoUrban Steel Kitchen + BarPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.6
