As a pre- theatre experience using the opentable summer offer we enjoyed sitting by the river and were greeted and seated warmly by hostess. After that service mechanical and brusque (3 different servers) but was efficient and food was all fine given the value and I guess busy kitchen. Guess heat wasn’t helping 🤓 But great location and plenty of choice

The food at Bistro Union was exquisite and the staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. My two older teens had roasts, one chicken supreme and one beef sirloin, which they described as the best they’d ever had at a restaurant. I had pan fried trout with radishes, peas, lettuce and beans which was perfect. We started with two small plates and finished by sharing the chocolate and lavender delice. I’d not been to the restaurant since pre pandemic, it was good then, now it’s very very good. Thank you!
