Best French Restaurants in Swanage

We visited Harveys for the first time and found it to be very nice the staff were very helpful and the food was well prepared but to generous for two 80+ year olds. It is a place that we could return to but for one thing and that is the position of the toilet which is down a quite steep stairway which renders it impossible for my wife to negotiate so this unfortunately will be our one and only time we will not return but we wish them all the best.

Great views and good menu, but it was the staff who made it special. All so friendly, and I like a chatty barman, especially when I’m out solo.

Lovely evening for a big birthday meal. There were a lot of us and the service and food was good. We would come again!

A stunning first visit to The Oaks! The Cheese Soufflé is phenomenal. We dined on a Wednesday night so took advantage of the 2 steaks offer - absolutely perfect steak with great accompaniments and wine included. Winner. Lovely staff, super friendly and a gorgeous venue too. We will be back next time we visit the South Coast for sure!
