Best French Japanese Restaurants in Gowanus

Great food and service as always. The white asparagus and fish dishes were delicious and excellent examples bridging French and Japanese elements harmoniously. The strawberry dessert was very refreshing, bright, and delightful.

There are a lot of nice restaurants in the city. Rarely, do I got to a place this expensive and think I got off cheap. The dining room is small, intimate, beautiful, and feels fun with a great view of the kitchen and only twelve two-top tables (which they push together to support larger parties). Definitely great for people who like to eat in private. The mocktails were delicious. I think the starters are the hidden gem. We had three of them and they were so strong and complex. The entree portions were generous and fun. And the dessert (Matcha Tiramisu) is one of the best desserts we have had in the city. Everything we ate you could see the fusion influences of french technique and asian flavors. Delicious. This is definitely going to be our go-to "Nice Night Out" dinner (at least until we have eaten our way through the entire menu). This place had a Michelin star in 2023 but it was definitely better than the Michelin restaurants we have eaten at this year, I hope they get it back AQAQ:)
