Best French Japanese Restaurants in Capitol Hill

An incredible experience all around — a true culinary adventure. The Wolfe Ranch Quail was the standout dish for us. Service was immaculate throughout, with a special shoutout to Kevin, who was exceptionally attentive.

Amazing food and service. The hamachi with dill was amazing. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and gave us some very interesting information regarding sake and introduced us to doburoku.

We had the French Onion soup, Dijon chicken, salmon sashimi and beet salad. All of it was excellent. The wait staff very attentive and quick. Unfortunately there was a large group of tourists who had been drinking at the restaurant for quite awhile. The men were shouting and laughing loudly. Really made it hard to have a conversation. We did ask the management to ask them to tone it down. Management did absolutely nothing. Very disappointing.

Our servers were nice, but we were seated for almost a half hour before we could get attention (and they weren’t especially busy). They messed up our order, but the food was good once it came out. While the front of house needs to get tightened up, there’s obviously a chef in the kitchen.
