Best Farm To Table Restaurants in Redwood City

Our favorite restaurant in the area. Not inexpensive, but worth it in quality of food, service, and attention.

We were a party of 4 seated outside for lunch. The food was great, very nicely done - octopus, calamari, halloumi, moussaka, beet salad. However the service was spotty. Forgot our iced teas, then brought only one rather than two. Was almost the end of the meal when the second arrived. The server did check for gluten very well, and many dishes were GF or could be made so. The outside seating was noisier than expected as the enclosure is hard surfaces with nothing to dampen sound. We could hear voices from the furthest table loud and clear - not very pleasant. Music was loud but they did turn it down for us. There used to be nice plant decor but that is mostly gone. Ambience could definitely be better. The outside heaters do work well - it was a chilly day.

Our waiter was wonderful. The food was great . We sat outside and enjoyed our lunch.

The warm décor and service - our waiter, Matt, was great - are top-notch. We enjoyed the calamari, the wagyu burger and fries (a seriously hefty burger that makes a meal for two) and the tagliatelle with wild mushrooms, garlic, tartufata and green onion. They are accommodating to diner's needs, e.g., I requested light on the truffle oil and the server immediately understood. Bonus: they serve their own warm, heavenly light, freshly-baked bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar: this is sadly missing from so many Italianish restaurants these days. Service could not have been better. Nice indoor space, and plentiful outdoor seating as well.

Beautiful and delicious food. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. My work friends and I sat outside and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.
