Tras su liberación, los jóvenes gozan de la protección que les ofrece el programa postpenitenciario del Café Momemtum. El programa del Café Momentum transmite a los jóvenes habilidades esenciales que le permiten reintegrarse a la sociedad en un entorno real y seguro de manera responsable. Al participar en el programa, estos jóvenes en situación de riesgo desempeñan diferentes funciones en el restaurante, que van desde servir a los clientes hasta lavar los platos, mientras trabajan junto a los chefs de la casa. Esta pasantía remunerada les da la oportunidad de poner en práctica sus nuevas habilidades y de desarrollar su liderazgo y sus capacidades sociales y profesionales durante todo el tiempo que quieran comprometerse con el Café Momentum. Además, el Café Momentum trabaja con el Departamento de Justicia Juvenil del condado de Dallas para atender a los jóvenes que corren el mayor riesgo de encarcelamiento.
