The food is always great here, not the first time we've been. And the ambience to be around all that greenery is just relaxing. Not to mention the service, the people, always so friendly and warm when you arrive, while you're there and when you're leaving.

Meals were absolutely fantastic. Fresh, rich flavors, cooked perfectly. Nice location. Staff was attentive and friendly. We loved our anniversary dinner and plan to go back soon. A real local gem!

Great service. Really nice decorations and atmosphere. Had the burger and it was good, so were the fries. Good dessert selection. I had the peanut butter bar. Very tasty. The bread given before the meal was outstanding. It has their homemade butter in top and comes hot. So yummy.

We reserved Winvian for our anniversary as we have a great appreciation for farm to table, finely prepared cuisine. We are local to Connecticut, however not local to the area, so we drove about 2 hours to arrive at the Winvian gate. We are very happy to report that we were not disappointed! All staff, from valet to cocktail service in the lounge, to the wait staff and maitre d were highly attentive and upheld the standard for a fine dining experience. The grounds are beautifully kept, peaceful and in-keeping with the serene antique farm theme. The cuisine! All dishes, starting with the amuse-bouche, were beautifully plated, impeccably curated and were delectable. Each course was so fresh and had so many levels of flavors providing a taste bud experience. **Also, I have several dietary allergies and they accommodated me nicely and without much ado. We were not guests of the property, but took a quick drive to view the beautifully themed cottages. They are definitely something to experience and we would be happy to consider an overnight stay. Overall, we had a lovely and romantic anniversary dining experience and we were barely through the first course and we're looking forward to coming again!
