Best Farm To Table Restaurants in Dursley

Had the 8 course taster menu with drink pairing, as a treat for our anniversary. I had a pre call to confirm, warmly greeted on arrival and given 5* treatment the whole visit. The food is the quality you expect and we were both stuffed at the end, not able to manage any of the possible extras you can buy such as cheese and port etc (bear in mind we had 2 plates of dessert already). The food was introduced, and at all times we felt comfortable and attended to. Amazing restaurant. Will return to try some more of their menu. Call out the rabbit samosa’s, mackerel, duck, chicken skin…. All immaculate.

We had a divine visit to Pythouse Kitchen for lunch . The menu choices were great, and everything tasted delicious. Wonderful combinations of seasonal vegetables and herbs to add such interest. We so enjoyed the seating outside, looking out across the beautiful garden full of flowers and herbs. The staff were all very attentive, and friendly.

A truly fabulous overall experience! Elevated but straightforward dishes, using locally sourced ingredients, in a truly spectacular setting surrounded by the stunning English countryside! Would highly recommend!!

Enjoyable lunch - disappointed Shoulder of Lamb was not on menu

This was our 2nd visit and once again the quality of food and service were excellent. Not ideal to have to go outside to a separate toilet block in wet weather, though the facilities were good. This visit was for lunch and whilst what we chose was excellent, a broader choice would have been appreciated.
