A total gem! Delicious food in a gracious atmosphere!

The Marshal To say this is one of the best restaurants in New York is an understatement! It's probably the most excellent food we have ever had. Cooked and served with love and care the taste of everything was amazing! The Devilled eggs rank top of my list (Beating even Yardbird in Miami!) followed by The Famous Meat Loaf and Short Ribs which were superb with stunning Mashed potatoes accompanied by a Local Merlot the taste experience was just wonderful. Desert was the S'mores and Maple marshmallow with a touch of salt! There are no words left to say how good that was. Chef Charlie Marshal was so welcoming and interesting and all cooked in a wood fired oven. If I lived here I would eat at The Marshal every day. You HAVE to go!!!

We liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. Presentation and quality of the food is very good. A bit on the pricey side though. Cocktails choices are good but big city pricing...$15 - $17. Menu entre choices are not particularly special but I do recommend the lobster roll. Fresh, large chunks of lobster. We shared 2 different desserts and those were decadent and large portions. One small problem is the construction happening on the properties. It is a little difficult to maneuver the first time you go there. Signs would help! Don't let that stop you from trying this restaurant.

So thrilled that St. Eves food and service is as fine as always. New owner/ chef Stepanie keeps the mission of this restaurant alive with every plate presented. Am I a devoted fan…. You bet I am! You will not be disappointed?
