Thank you so much for a wonderful experience today. The food was absolutely to die for — we savoured every single dish. A special thank you as well for the hazelnut miso recipe, such a kind and thoughtful gesture. We’ve been coming regularly since 2020. We’re French and have lived in the UK for the last 20 years, always searching for la perle rare. I wish we could come more often, but even though it’s about an hour’s drive for us, it’s always worth it. I also wanted to say how much I loved reading your little note at the back of the menu. It made me so happy to see your commitment to stepping away from food systems that harm the environment. It’s a challenge, but if more of us start working in the right direction, it can and will make a difference.

Lovely food, nice table with ample space, courtious service, very helpful, as neither of us had taken our glasses, so server took time to explain. Food portions generous, arrived hot, most enjoyable.

It had been a while since we had been to The Millbrook. However, it was probably better than ever. The new owner/host seemed genuinely pleased to serve us and was authentically polite. The food was outstanding. We chose the steak to share, it had that lovely charred taste, yet exceptionally tender. However we wished we hadn't had the charcuterie starter , which was amazing, as we couldnt finish it all!! I just wished I liked fish, as the table next to us had fish that was filleted at the table, that looked amazing too. We heard that it came from Looe that morning. We will definitely be back and hope it won't be so long next time!
