This place was incredible! Because we had a late reservation, we had the place to ourselves on Valentine’s Day night! The service was the best we’ve ever had anywhere. The server is a young guy who is joining the coast guard in June, who was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of! The food was equally as good! This restaurant is well worth the drive to get there!

The shrimp and grits and brussels sprouts were outstanding. Everything we ordered was really good. We will go back! Very interesting (and nice) decor.

My wife and I were visiting Asheville for the weekend and looking for a new restaurant to try and we saw The Admiral came highly recommended. We both loved it there and will be a place we return to in the future. I had the duck and my wife had the gnocchi. We also split the brussel sprouts. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and even gave us some recommendations. Admiral is definitely worth checking out!

First visit. Food was very well prepared. Definitely a 'go back' kind of place ... and we plan to! Server was very friendly, willing to get answers to questions we had about menu items (and admitted to being relatively new), but missed several opportunities to excel (had to be prompted on a couple things. Also, the establishment indicated they didn't operate with the OpenTable reservations system. Not. problem as there were plenty of tables ... but could have been a real dilemma if they were full. Somewhere there is a disconnct.
