Afternoon tea value for money with good service and a lovely place to eat.

We really enjoyed the food and cocktails here. There is a wide selection of Tapas and Paella. Quality wine list too and the service was friendly and personal. This visit we were a couple but will return with the family as there are some lovely large tables for family gatherings.

We had Afternoon Tea for 4 at The Cotswold House Hotel. There was a slight mix up with the booking as Open Table had allocated the Hidcote Brasserie instead of Afternoon Tea but the Hotel staff sorted things out smoothly and we were given a lovely table in a fabulous drawing room allocated for Afternoon Tea guests. The tea itself was really very good , one of the nicest we have had and far superior to say the Lygon Arms in Broadway in our view. Service was very good and discrete, perhaps a bit more checking when we had finished as we had to chase for the bill a couple of times but nothing major. Overall highly recommended , lovely ambience, beautiful setting, very good food and very good service

Good tasty roast beef but served warm not hot on a cold plate. Ambience of the Crown is bare boards.
