Best English Restaurants in Combrook

Mains were very tasty, although the baby carrots were a little hard (under done). Other than that, the food was very nice. We were a little confused about the menu, as the one we were given didn’t have some of the on-line options. Crème Brûlée for example. The staff were very friendly.

We booked a table in the cocktail lounge for an evening of jazz. The musicians were fabulous ….. they were joined, for a few numbers, by a very talented singer. We had a wonderful evening , we will definitely be back!! We ordered nibbles, prawn saganaki and a “land” platter which were very tasty and complemented the french rose wine we drank whilst listening to the music.

Lovely meal in the restaurant with pre dinner drinks and again after in the garden. Would definitely recommend. Had the steak and wine offer on Thursdays at the moment . 2xSteak meals and either 1/2 or whole bottle of Bordeaux for £60/£70. Very good value and delicious.

Stopped by for lunch. Very friendly welcome, excellent food from wide choice. Catch of the day. Mackerel, was delicious.
