'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe,has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to theThames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toastspread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered themagain when we returned for Sunday lunch. The food was great but this was let down by the hesitant service we were told to sit where we liked but no table wax actually set properly . This made the initial impression not great however the food was amazing. You just need to concentrate on customer service and creating an ambience . Although we had booked it was like we weren’t expected weird considering how quiet it was. Get the customer service right and you will do well because the food was delicious
