Myself and a friend dined at the white oak for dinner. We were seated at a lovely table big enough for 4 by the back doors. It was lovely to have space and be facing the room. The service throughout the evening was friendly and helpful. The menu had lots of options and we struggled to pick! The food was delicious and we left full and happy. Sadly no room for pudding- maybe next time!

Very good food in a great location with great service all at a good value for money

It was pretty quiet but that wasn't surprising, as we'd booked for 2pm. We were a bit disappointed that the Prix Fixe menu wasn't available but what we all had from the main menu was very good. We particularly appreciated that one of our party of 4 wanted to have extra gravy with her dish, and the staff were very helpful in providing that. Many thanks.

We enjoyed our lunch and the atmosphere of the restaurant as we were able to sit on the terrace and appreciate the view. However the booking I made seemed unnecessary as no one confirmed our booking on arrival. The waitress was very lovely but did seem a bit under pressure so maybe the other waiter that appeared later should have been there the whole time as the place was quite busy.

Delicious food served in a wonderful setting. Very attentive and friendly staff. We have previously been for Sunday lunch and will return again.
