This was a lovely place to lunch after the Grayson Perry exhibition. Good choice of either a light lunch or a main meal. Also a surprisingly good choice for vegetarians. Service at the beginning was a bit slow but staff were friendly. A great place to celebrate my partner’s mother’s 90th birthday.

Wonderful staff and service. Chicken pot pie was great! Sea bream small and over-cooked. Beautiful surroundings

It was pretty quiet but that wasn't surprising, as we'd booked for 2pm. We were a bit disappointed that the Prix Fixe menu wasn't available but what we all had from the main menu was very good. We particularly appreciated that one of our party of 4 wanted to have extra gravy with her dish, and the staff were very helpful in providing that. Many thanks.

We enjoyed our lunch and the atmosphere of the restaurant as we were able to sit on the terrace and appreciate the view. However the booking I made seemed unnecessary as no one confirmed our booking on arrival. The waitress was very lovely but did seem a bit under pressure so maybe the other waiter that appeared later should have been there the whole time as the place was quite busy.

Good overall but preferred the dishes on the last menu
