Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Today we serve a refreshing range of lager, ale & wines and a menu that reflects the great British pub, using fresh ingredients all cooked to order. The food was great but this was let down by the hesitant service we were told to sit where we liked but no table wax actually set properly . This made the initial impression not great however the food was amazing. You just need to concentrate on customer service and creating an ambience . Although we had booked it was like we weren’t expected weird considering how quiet it was. Get the customer service right and you will do well because the food was delicious
