Best Dim Sum Restaurants in Berkeley

I took my three cousins to Yank Sing for a Saturday brunch - had a great experience - both service and food. Two had recently moved to SF from the East Coast, and Yank Sing was their introduction to traditional dim sum served from carts. After brunch we took a tour of the Rincon Center old post office murals with City Guides - a nice pairing of classic SF activities for the weekend.

Really delicious, fresh tasting dimsum. The private recipe beef was exceptional. It was crowded but we had reservations, seated right away The noise level was loud so this is not a place for a romantic date, it's more for a families and friends outing. The restaurant was cute and would have liked to sit by the window to people watch those on the embarcadero. Will definitely come back!

Such a classic! The food is consistently on point and the service is friendly and fast. Always on my list of places when I go to SF.
