Best Cajun Restaurants in Dupont Circle

This was our first time and we took a friend with us and had a Wonderful Lunch, the food was great the service was excellent and the atmosphere was amazing. We will be back and can’t say enough about how we enjoyed this place.

I dined at Milk & Honey on the DC Wharf today and the food was amazing. The food was hot, fresh, well plated, and tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The wait staff was even better. Johanna, was exceptional, she was patient, attentive, kind, and professional. She made my day! Thank you all for a job well done

Had Dauphine’s Board and the grilled yellow fin tuna. My server, recommended three meats for the board and I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, it was a bit more to eat than I expected, and I wondered whether I could eat a large plate after. I ordered the grilled yellow fin tuna, and at first glance, I thought it might be over cooked. Instead, it was perfectly cooked and tender. Returning to Lana, my wonderful server, I felt very, very well looked after.

I began the evening by meeting the host, who was incredibly sweet. I settled at a table and ordered a drink and some oysters. The server, who was both knowledgeable and attentive, offered excellent recommendations on the varieties of oysters available. Later, I enjoyed a plate of delicious scallops. After the show I came to DC for, I returned and treated myself to the fried chicken, which was cooked to perfection.

The food was excellent and so was the service. My husband and I happened upon this restaurant and we will definitely visit again. The staff were very welcoming and our meals came out quick and delicious. We loved it!
