- PPaulSydney •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoA great lunch at Shoya as previous lunches as they NEVER disappoint at one of the best Japanese restaurants in Melbourne!!! The Hot pot and broth was delicious with a capital D! The sushi served in their signature "ice ball " was the freshest sushi I've had since returning from Japan. The service was second to none and atmosphere excellent as always . We will be back most definitely.More infoShoya MelbournePrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Melbourne CBD•4.6

Card surcharge when you order via QR code if you wanted to pay by cash you had to go to the counter. It would have been nice to take orders and pay later in my opinion. Tempura.. was soso I have had better. Presentation was nice. Salmon sashimi and the salad was not bad. I was surprised at how big serving of udon there was- I couldn’t finish it all in the end. Not bad, but have had better. A bit pricy aswell.More infoOperator SanPrice: Moderate• Café• Melbourne CBD•4.6
- MMAYAMelbourne •1 review5.0Dined on Jun 16, 2025By far one of the best restaurants in Melbourne. We rocked up on a Monday evening at 8:45pm, late to our booking 8:30pm, in which we thought the restaurant closed at 12pm but no- it closed at 9pm! So automatically I thought they would apologise and say that we had come too late or give us a time of which we had to leave but instead they catered us, looked after us and told us to take our time. Lucas, the manager and our waiter was so very accomodating. Midway through the dinner, we (me and my date) were the only ones in the restaurant. Was truly an experience I am very grateful for, and all the food was 10/10. I do recommend the ebi mayo, okonomiyaki and yakitori AND the HOT CHOCOLATE - it's one of the best I've had. No joke. 100% recommend.More infoIchi Ni Nana Izakaya - FitzroyPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Fitzroy•4.3
