Absolutely amazing experience from the team there especially going out with coeliac disease can be difficult but team made it super easy for me to understand which meals I can and cannot have most of the menu was gluten-free anyway and it made me feel a part of my friendship group without leaving any meals out cocktails and food. 10 out of 10 would definitely be going a thousand times again.

We had a wonderful birthday dinner at Izakaya Chouchou. We chose the “Chef Feed Me” course, which delighted us with both its generous portions and exceptional flavors. The cuisine is a perfect fusion of Japanese and Western styles, offering a range of exciting and beautifully presented dishes. The sushi and sashimi platter was outstanding—fresh, vibrant, and artfully arranged. I especially loved the grilled eggplant, which had a beautifully crisp skin and soft, tender flesh. The dessert boat was both adorable and delicious, adding a playful and satisfying finish to the meal. Every course brought delightful surprises, making the entire dining experience truly joyful. The service was exceptional—the owner personally explained each dish with care and passion, helping us appreciate the thought and craft behind the food. A heartfelt touch was the birthday message for my son displayed on the wall, which made the evening feel even more special and warm. Went for lunch, overall great service and food. Atmosphere was amazing as always. Definitely one of my favourite places.
