We hadn't been to Tamayo in a very long time, and I was really impressed with the food quality and blending of flavors. Better than I remembered it to be! Margaritas were excellent also. We came for dinner before a DCPA show and because of traffic we were over 20 minutes late for our reservation which made us tight to have a meal and get to our show. We communicated this to our waiter, and he commented that the kitchen was very busy and there was a large group upstairs, but he would do his best. Our food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. 5-star service!! I will definitely not wait so long to go back!!

The menu selection is very good. Tosta de Toro and Sope de Carnitas were excellent and the jalapeño cornbread was delicious, but too pricey. The decor is chic modern with traditional accents. A very nice addition to Cherry Creek!

We waited a long time to get a reservation to dine here and was it ever worth it! Took a 4:00 pm dinner seating but absolutely loved it! The atmosphere, service and food was worth the wait! We let our amazing waitress Samantha choose our selection and it she did not disappoint. Highly recommended.

Tostada De Toro paired with the best Mezcal Old Fashioned in Denver. Absolutely amazing!

Three of us enjoyed brunch very much. I especially enjoyed my Completa entree. Our server was efficient and friendly. We enjoyed an early Mother's Day treat.
