Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Ohio City

I dined at Il Venetian tonight with my son and husband for the birthday celebration. Food was unbelievable and we had three desserts for free which we didn’t expect to receive. It was the best birthday dinner and we won’t forget it. Definitely we will go back to this restaurant for more wonderful memories. Thank you, Il Venetian!!!!

Palazzo is a hidden gem! Excellent service and atmosphere. The food was fantastic! I had Lobster tail with lobster risotto. It was my birthday so they sent out a crème brûlée which was phenomenal. Some other entree s ordered were Chicken Marsala, Cavatelli, Ribeye steak and Bolognese. All were excellent and all plates were clean at the end! Thank you Palazzo for a memorable birthday dinner❤️

I’m thrilled that aqui de Dea is open late on Saturdays so we can come after the theatre. Our Meal’s were awesome so much so we ordered another serving of the escarole to take home with us. I loved how they were so accommodating to us, even as the kitchen was getting ready to close. Really this place is such a gem for the Cleveland late night scene. We’ll be back for sure!

Always an amazing experience here . Our waitress Gina was exquisite, so kind , attentive and knowledgeable about the menu . We ordered the beet salad which was a great portion to share amongst the three of us . Fresh arugula with the beets and pistachio garnish was just so tasty . Short rib ravioli , chicken Parmesan and eggplant were the main for us !!! Everything came out hot and seasoned to perfection !!! Love your red sauce ! Gelato, pistachio brûlée, Nutella cappuccino ended our evening with a punch !!! Wow ~ as always . Thank you for taking care of us and presenting the perfect dinner !!!
