Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Live music and niche little magic entertainers are a regular occurrence. With an open alfresco feel in the summer, looking out on to the Green itself and a pavement terrace in warmer months too. The menu is Modern European with a specials menu that changes regularly and plenty of choice on the drinks and cocktail menu.

    Sat outside for a business lunch. The service was prompt but not rushed. The food was excellent. On a day with nicer weather I can imagine spending the afternoon chatting over a bottle of rosé or maybe even two.

    Amazing service and delicious pasta! Spicy ragu was so yummy. I wanted to lick the saffron sauce off the plate it was so delectable. Highly recommend this authentic Sicilian food. We live in the neighborhood and have definitely found a new favorite!

    I really recommend this lovely restaurant. We had an outdoor table on the fabulous terrace and the service and ambience were great. This is a busy, bustly area and yet this was like an oasis of calm and peace. We could hear ourselves speak and the waiting staff were brilliant; attentive but not intrusive at all. The food was good, but portions were very small (pasta) - this was my only minor issue and so it wasn't great value for money. Great choices for vegetarians however and a very comprehensive menu. Will definitely recommend this place to others.
