Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Irvington

for our last visit we were seated in the Vault room . If you are looking for a quieter space this is it! As always the food and drink were delicious and service was very attentive and pleasant.

Just had dinner at Moscato and honestly, it was such a great experience. From the moment we walked in, the service stood out—super attentive without being over the top. You could tell the staff actually cared about making sure everyone had a good time. The homemade pasta? Next-level. You can taste the difference—fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. We tried a couple of desserts too (definitely save room!) and they were just as good. You can tell everything’s made in-house with real love behind it. Big shoutout to the manager, Salvatore—super friendly and welcoming. He made the place feel more like a neighborhood gem than just another restaurant. You can tell he’s really passionate about what they do there. Definitely recommend if you’re into cozy vibes, excellent Italian food, and great service. I’ll be back for sure

The service was great, the food was delicious. Two of us shared a salad and they split it for us. Beet salad, whipped ricotta, salmon, bronzino, tiramisu were all delicious and beautifully prepared. My friend and I wanted to sit and talk, so the staff allowed us to do that and refilled water regularly. There was only one drawback. It is very noisy. They originally tried to seat us in the room with the bar and TV my friend asked to see if there was a table in the other room. They were happy to move us. The other room was a bit quieter, but it is still a bit loud, especially for a weekday and not being full.
