Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Chinatown

I almost hate to write this review as I don't want to let too many people know what a great little gem this is and not to be able to get in again myself!! We were greeted by an Irish beauty, who I found out later, was Fiona. Very welcoming and seemed so proud of her place of employment. I wish I could remember our waiter's name, but he was very knowledgable regarding the menu and offered several suggestions. We were seated during their "Happy Hour" and took advantage of two of their Burrata specialties, the Affettati and the Bomba Chili Prawns. He even came around 5 minutes before Happy Hour was over to ask if we wanted to order anything last minute - such good customer service. The couple we were with enjoyed the prawn dish so much, they actually ordered the same off the regular menu. My husband had the Osso Bucco and he said it was better than most he's had in Vancouver. I had the Mortadella pizza and lucky for me, I was so full from the delicious appetizers, I was able to bring two pieces home for lunch!! This will definitely be one of our favourite restaurants.

Went for Mother’s Day brunch buffet. It was decent. However, for the pricing, even though nothing fancy is expected, but at least beef carvings or some sort of meat would be nice. Quite upset there is only bacon, sausage, cold cuts, and smoked salmon. However, the service is friendly. The mother’s day’s carnations are a neat touch. Would still recommend this place.

The restaurant was busy with large groups and said they only had 3 waitstaff the night we were there. Honestly, we were amazed how well they handled it all. We never felt like we were ignored. The food was delicious! Would certainly go back again.
