- EElizaHampshire •1 review4.0Dined 1 day agoWe had the pre-theatre dinner menu. Nice ambience, limited but interesting choices. The food was very tasty and there was plenty. My partner loved the desserts, I found them a bit too sweet. The service was a bit over-zealous, continually asking for our feedback and empty plates were cleared over-promptly. Strange that when it came to getting the bill we had trouble getting attention, almost made us late for the theatre.More infoKahaniPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Indian• Chelsea•4.8
- JJoydeepLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on May 19, 2025Manthan Mayfair is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, the impeccable service and amazing ambiance envelop you. The decor is thoughtfully curated, inviting a sense of introspection, perfectly aligning with the restaurant's name. Our culinary journey began with the Artichoke Tikki – a revelation! As first-timers, we were utterly blown away by the incredible flavors and textures. For the main course, the vegetarian thali was a truly sumptuous affair. Each element, from the perfectly cooked Soya Chop and creamy Saag Paneer to the comforting Tadka Dal and rich Matar Paneer Makhani, was a delight. Accompanied by fragrant steamed rice, refreshing raita, and beautifully made tawa paratha, it was a feast for the senses. The subtly sweet Coconut Payasam provided a lovely end to the thali. To top it off, they surprised me with a delightful complimentary Chocolate Mousse for my birthday – such a thoughtful touch! Manthan is a must-try experience, and incredibly convenient, being just under a 10-minute walk from Oxford Circus. Highly recommended!More infoManthanPrice: Expensive• Indian• Mayfair•4.7
