- JJasonSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoYou will not be disappointed if you dine at Bombay Brasserie for brunch. The dinning room is stunning and the staff is welcoming and inviting. The menu has a variety of options and the 3-course brunch is great value. We started our culinary journey with a Bombay Spritz and a Paan cocktail. Both were excellent. For starters we ordered the Avocado Bhel and the Coconut Shrimp. The Bhel was incredible, the blending of the spices with the ingredients makes this dish an must try. The Coconut Shrimp were crispy and cooked to perfection, don't forget to add the chili sauce to the shrimp. For our entrees we had "Our Chicken and Waffle" and Chicken Biryani. The waffle took the traditional fav and elevated it to a whole new level with Spicy Fried Chicken and the Dosa waffle. The Biryani, was one of the best we have had outside of India. We also tried the Naanza, which a a great treat! To end the amazing meal we ordered the Crepe and Carrot Halwa Tart. The crepe was so silky and the flavors warmed the palate. The tart with its sweet and creamy textures was a great way to end a fabulous meal. What truly made the experience great was how the staff continually checked on our table to make sure we had everything we need to enjoy our meal. Chef Thomas came by our table several times to check on us as well as the other dinners in the restaurant. This small gesture by the Chef made us feel like we were the only dinners, even though there were other tables. Do not pass up on the chance to dine at Bombay Brasserie.More infoBombay BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French / Indian• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.4
