- DDavideNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoOur dining experience at Frevo was truly exceptional. Both the food and service were outstanding, and the wine pairing elevated the meal to another level. Every course was beautifully executed, showcasing both creativity and precision. If I were to offer one critique, I would suggest that the black truffle agnolotti—offered as an additional option at $55—be included in the overall price of the tasting experience, as it feels like a natural complement to the already expensive menu. (235$ per person) Additionally, we were mistakenly charged $70 for a sea urchin supplement in one of the courses, that we hadn’t requested. However, once we brought it to their attention, the staff handled the situation with the utmost professionalism and promptly removed it from the check. Overall, this was a memorable and refined dining experience, and Frevo remains one of my favorite Michelin-starred restaurants I have tried.More infoFrevoPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary European• Greenwich Village•5

The mushroom consomme sounded amazing but was more like a salty onion soup with a few mushrooms thrown in. Don't choose it. The price to quality ratio was high even for NYC. The ambiance is lovely, though someone should teach the pianist how to play "Take Five". I'd recently eaten at a 1 star Michelin place in Paris, and the last place my friend and I dined was Le Coucou here in the city. Both were much better at a lower price.More infoOne if by Land, Two if by SeaPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Greenwich Village•4.5
- RRandallVIPWashington, D.C. Area •30 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoThe food at Brass was delicious and the sommelier, Brady, was fabulous. We especially enjoyed the Couronne De Gougeres, the Ricotta Gnudi, and the Pork Shoulder a la Moutarde. Brady, the sommelier, really added to the evening. He timed the pours so that we finished the bottle with the meal. At the end of the evening he gave us a delicious amaro-based digestif.More infoBrass & The Tusk BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• NoMad•4.6
