Best Contemporary French American Restaurants in Heights / Washington

Our water, Pena, was great but the food service was very slow from the kitchen. 4 1/2 hour dinner. Beautiful restaurant!

Great service. Carlos was very attentive and knowledgeable. Food is always flavorful. Presentation is A1. A little on pricey side, but overall a great experience. Recommended.

Had dinner with a 91 year old at her suggestion and the experience was delightful in that the sound level allowed for conversation and great stories and remembrances. Food was excellent but took a back seat to the joy of the experience!

Ashley is an absolute rockstar and I look forward to having another Unknown, along with the rest of the future menu. Everything was so cute and delicious, service was impeccable!

Ambiance had some awkward silence. The only sound/noise was carrying from the bar area across the entryway The food was very good but not great. Ceviche was a bit heavy and small. Butter rolls were very good. Caesar salad was good but didn’t have enough dressing for my liking. Steak and burger were cooked to our liking and the portions were good. Duck was delicious, nice savory and sweet contrasting flavors. Good wine and cocktail list. Beautiful atmosphere. Wait staff was great- attentive and kind.
