Best Contemporary European Restaurants in Chadstone

We had an amazing meal last night. The ambience was as cool as ever. We are regulars at this fantastic establishment, but hadn't been here for almost a year since we moved interstate to live. The staff were so attentive and caring of our needs and wishes, that when they saw our reservation, they put aside the last bottle of our favourite wine for us to have with our meal, and they remembered our usual food order! As for the food itself, the steak au poivre was as delicious as ever. It confirmed The European as our favourite restaurant in all of Australia.

I'm pretty sure that we'd been to the Fitzroy Town Hall Hotel years ago and loved it, and I just happened to see it pop up on someone's social media recently and thought we'd visit. We eat out a lot and we were so impressed with the food, service and cosy vibe. The bread starter was beautiful and hit the spot right off the bat with the accompaniment of that delicious butter. The burger was the best that my husband and I have ever tried and the mushroom gnocchetti was perfect, aside from it lacking a little salt, which is a very minute detail (it was so delicious that I didn't stop to ask for salt). The elderflower spritz was well made and refreshing and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the apple and rhubarb crumble special. You could tell how high quality and fresh the ingredients were and that the chefs knew exactly what they were doing. Please also pass our compliments on to them, along with the friendly wait staff, and we look forward to visiting again soon.

We all enjoyed the evening very much.It was wonderful for my daughter's 30th birthday celebration with such attentive staff.

The environment is quite nice and there aren't many people. The steak I ordered was medium but already had a burnt taste. The fries that came with it were very delicious.
