Best Contemporary British Restaurants in Finchley Central

Excellent venue with welcoming staff for a pleaseant meet-up .

We had a great meal last night at one Ashbourne they were plenty of staff and the service was impeccable. The food was cooked to perfection, although somewhat on the expensive side. We shared the Meat platter (£150 for two,) but the portions were very generous and cooked perfectly. Altogether a great dining experience.

We enjoyed our lunch and the atmosphere of the restaurant as we were able to sit on the terrace and appreciate the view. However the booking I made seemed unnecessary as no one confirmed our booking on arrival. The waitress was very lovely but did seem a bit under pressure so maybe the other waiter that appeared later should have been there the whole time as the place was quite busy.

We enjoyed the set menu, however, the choices of desert was a little disappointing. Overall, we always like The Ivy.
