Service & food quality - 10/10 BUTTTT the hostess (Rosa) and “manager” (refused to give his name) were rude & unprofessional. When making the reservation, I indicated that it was a graduation celebration and I’d be bringing in dessert. After dinner, when settling the bill I noticed a $50 cake cutting fee. I questioned this with our waiter (Steven - who btw was AMAZING!!!) and he mentioned that someone should have explained this fee when booking WHICH THEY DID NOT! Rosa and her nasty attitude came over and lied straight to my face that she told me. Of mention - I brought prepackaged, individual sized cake cups as well as utensils. There was no cutting, plating, distribution, or cleanup involved. I told her that I know for certain she did not, and I am 100000% sure of this. I asked to speak with the manager, and he lied too and said he called me on Monday and told me about the fee. Another lie. Rosa said she told me, then he told me, but the real gag is neither of the two called me. Someone else called me to confirm my reservation and there was no mention of the fee. If there was, I’d have gladly mentioned what I was bringing. Steven remained calm, poised and apologetic throughout the entire debacle. Ultimately the fee was waived but who wants to deal with all that nonsense. As we were leaving, Steven walked us out, apologizing again for the miscommunication. The “manager” began to berate him in front of us! Disgusting and downright unprofessional! My bill was $1,336.32. Clearly I wasn’t “skimping” or trying to get over. Like be for real. For 50 bucks?! If I ever decide to go back, it’ll be for those bomb chicken dumplings & wings, and served by Steven ONLY!

The food is excellent and creative — truly a standout. The smell can be a bit too heavy on the fried side, but the service is warm and attentive. The location is unexpected — tucked inside a condo building café — but that’s part of its charm. You wouldn’t expect to find such great food there. A real hidden gem.
