Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Yaletown

We sat on the patio. I would probably choose to sit indoors next time because the construction of condos nearby meant dump and cement trucks were constantly passing by, making it difficult to hear. Our server was friendly and the food was very good. I will definitely be back!

Yummy food- the chicken katsu salad was delicious and my husband loved his tuna roll and tacos- would go back for sure

It is a hidden gem. Great location to also visit the Friday night market and entertainment. Take advantage of Valet parking. Parkade fills up fast. 2 hours for $18. See the hotel concierge. Food portion is adequate. The restaurant felt more casual formal. I felt like our table was placed in the “middle” of the room. Beside the washrooms, near the fireplace / casual sofas / not near the window as I requested. I feel there is a fine dining experience if you go past the washrooms thru the door opening. We may have been placed in the casual bar booth and tv area. Our server / servers were pleasant. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Wife got the Pitboss Sandwich and I got the 2 meat combo ribs and brisket. Ribs were very tasty but a bit dry. Brisket was very good. Nice sized serving. Sandwich had lots of meat but could have used coleslaw or mayo to help the dryness. Server Emily was very helpful friendly and attentive without constantly checking in. If you want BBQ you won’t be disappointed by going here. Recommend making reso’s
